MooseLoon Lake is located up the Gunflint Trail, in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Loon Lake is near BWCAW entry points #47, #48 and #49.

Loon Lake is also close to the Border Route Hiking Trail, which runs between the United States and Canada.

Along the Gunflint Trail and in nearby Grand Marais, you will find opportunties for golf, tennis, shopping, sightseeing, fine restaurants, sailing, boating, swimming, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, miniature golf, live theatre, galleries and horseback riding.

#48 Meeds Lake

#49 Skipper and Portage Lakes
